II. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE  

Object of the Conditions: The Website  

The purpose of these General Conditions of Use (hereinafter, the Conditions) is  to regulate the access and use of the Website. For the purposes of these  Conditions, the Website shall be understood to mean: the external appearance of  the screen interfaces, both statically and dynamically, i.e., the navigation tree; and  all the elements integrated in both the screen interfaces and the navigation tree  (hereinafter, Content), and all online services or resources that may be oƯered to  Users (hereinafter, Services).  

ExpatLex-Hispania reserves the right to modify, at any time, and without prior  notice, the presentation and configuration of the Website and the Content and  Services that may be incorporated therein. The User acknowledges and accepts  that ExpatLex-Hispania may, at any time, interrupt, deactivate, and/or cancel any of these elements integrated into the Website or access thereto.  

Access to the Website by the User is free of charge and, as a general rule, is  gratuitous, without the User having to provide consideration to benefit from it, 

except for the cost of connection through the telecommunications network  supplied by the access provider contracted by the User.  

The use of some of the Content or Services of the Website may be subject to the  User’s prior subscription or registration.

Access, browsing, and use of the Website confers the status of User, implying the  acceptance of all the Conditions set forth herein, and any subsequent  modifications thereto, from the moment browsing of the Website begins, without  prejudice to the application of any corresponding mandatory legal regulations  where applicable. The Website provides a wide diversity of information, services, and data. The User  assumes responsibility for the proper use of the Website. This responsibility shall  extend to:

Mere access to this Website does not imply the establishment of any type of  commercial relationship between ExpatLex-Hispania and the User.  

The User declares to be of legal age and to have the suƯicient legal capacity to be  bound by these Conditions. Therefore, this Website is not directed at minors.  ExpatLex-Hispania disclaims any liability for non-compliance with this  requirement.  

The Website is primarily directed at foreign Users residing or planning to reside in  Spain. ExpatLex-Hispania does not guarantee that the Website complies with the  laws of other countries, either totally or partially. If the User resides or is domiciled  elsewhere and decides to access and/or browse the Website, they shall do so at  

their own risk, and must ensure that such access and browsing complies with the 

local legislation applicable to them, with ExpatLex-Hispania assuming no liability that may arise from such access.  

III. ACCESS AND BROWSING ON THE WEBSITE: EXCLUSION OF WARRANTIES  AND LIABILITY  

ExpatLex-Hispania does not warrant the continuity, availability, or utility of the  Website, the Content, or the Services. ExpatLex-Hispania shall use its best eƯorts  for the proper functioning of the Website; however, it does not assume  responsibility or warrant that access to this Website will be uninterrupted or  error-free.  

Nor does it assume responsibility or warrant that the Content or software that  may be accessed through this Website is error-free or will cause damage to the  User’s computer system (software and hardware). In no case shall ExpatLex Hispania be liable for losses, damages, or harm of any kind arising from the  access, browsing, and use of the Website, including, but not limited to, those  caused to computer systems or those caused by the introduction of viruses.  

ExpatLex-Hispania is not responsible for any damages that may be caused to  Users due to the improper use of this Website. In particular, it is not responsible in any way for any failures, interruptions, lack, or defects in  

telecommunications that may occur.

The User is informed that the ExpatLex-Hispania Website provides or may provide  Users with linking means (such as, among others, links, banners, buttons),  directories, and search engines that allow Users to access websites belonging to  and/or managed by third parties.

ExpatLex-Hispania, either directly or as an assignee, owns all the intellectual and  industrial property rights of the Website, as well as the elements contained  therein (by way of example and not limitation, images, sound, audio, video,  software or texts, trademarks or logos, color combinations, structure and design,  selection of materials used, computer programs necessary for its operation,  access and use, etc.). Consequently, they are works protected as intellectual  property by Spanish law, and both Spanish and EU regulations in this field, as well  as international treaties relating to the matter and signed by Spain, shall apply.

purposes, in any medium and by any technical means, without the authorization  of ExpatLex-Hispania, are expressly prohibited.  

The User undertakes to respect the intellectual and industrial property rights of  ExpatLex-Hispania. VI. LEGAL ACTIONS, APPLICABLE LAW, AND JURISDICTION  

ExpatLex-Hispania reserves the right to file the civil or criminal actions it deems  necessary for the improper use of the Website and Content, or for the breach of  these Conditions.  

The relationship between the User and ExpatLex-Hispania shall be governed by the  current and applicable regulations in Spanish territory. Should any controversy arise in relation to the interpretation and/or application of these Conditions, the  parties shall submit their disputes to the ordinary jurisdiction, subject to the  judges and courts corresponding according to law.
